For some years she was the regular tutor for Hamilton's independent writing group Hieton Writers. Carol has also worked as a tutor through Cardonald College in Glasgow and once ran classes in creative writing (in English) for Spanish young people and adults attending the British Council schools in Madrid, which was challenging, inspiring and fun!
